Moulin Rouge! The Musical is set in 1899 Montmartre, Paris. It tells the story of Christian, a young bohemian writer, who falls deeply in love with Satine, the star performer of the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret.
Their passionate but forbidden romance unfolds against a backdrop of glittering nightlife, ambition and artistic rebellion. As Satine is torn between love and survival, the pair must navigate a world of glamour, jealousy and heartbreak.
